How UniqBuild uses Google Ads and the Google Ads API

About UniqBuild

UniqBuild develops and operates mobile applications. We are based in Seoul, Republic of Korea, and publish iOS and Android apps under our own developer accounts on the App Store and Google Play.

Use of Google Ads

We use Google Ads to promote our own mobile apps and acquire app users, primarily through Google Ads app install campaigns. All Google Ads accounts referenced in our use of the API are owned and operated by UniqBuild.

Use of the Google Ads API

The Google Ads API is used internally for two purposes within our own Google Ads accounts: (1) campaign management — programmatically creating, updating, pausing, and resuming our own app install campaigns, and adjusting budgets and bids; and (2) reporting and analysis — retrieving campaign performance data such as cost, impressions, clicks, and app install conversion metrics.

The reporting data is used for internal dashboards and reports used by UniqBuild to monitor campaign performance and compare efficiency across our owned apps, and to inform the management operations above.

Representative API operations and fields we use:

  • Campaign management: create / update / pause campaigns (CampaignService), adjust budgets (CampaignBudgetService), and update bids and status
  • campaign.name, campaign.status — campaign identification and state
  • metrics.cost_micros — ad spend
  • metrics.impressions, metrics.clicks — reach and engagement
  • metrics.conversions — app install conversions
  • Derived metrics computed internally: CPI (cost per install), CPC, install conversion rate, and ROAS

Data flow: Google Ads API → UniqBuild internal data store → internal dashboard viewed by UniqBuild staff only. No data is exposed to or shared with external parties.

Scope Limitation

We do not provide advertising agency services, manage third-party Google Ads accounts, or process Google Ads data on behalf of external customers. The API is used only to retrieve and analyze performance data for our own app promotion campaigns.
